    Well some spare time on Sunday gave us the opportunity to get on down to Wetherby Racecourse car boot. A staple activity of summer (?) weekends. Rummaging through all the tat a few treasures were spotted and we returned home £6 poorer but with 2 new board games, a sneaky birthday present for my youngest and a nice plate for me!     Everyday we will be opening eggs at breakfast as part of our family worship. In each is a little badge, a section of the Easter story and an activity to do together.     After a cold wet walk and pub tea, with the girls tucked up in bed I spent yesterday evening on the sofa licking a wooden spoon covered in brownie mixture! The reward after a baking session( especially as it is wasn’t me who did the baking!) thinking about how lovely my home is, and how it feels.     This weekend we went to visit family but before we could even pack up the car , the car needed emptying first, a job which my ever patient husband did. Somehow our boot becomes the home of many different kinds of collections. It is a traveling museum telling the story of our out and about antics. Continue reading
