We have been having a visitor to our garden. This is a lovely black and white cat now going by the name of ‘Chanderina’ (even though I think it is a boy cat). My girls are adamant he is a she so Chanderina it is, or if we are feeling very pally ‘Chandy’!
This cat, belonging to a few houses down did visit us last year when we had our handful of BBQs in the summer. This year she returns whenever she hears little chirpy voices playing in the garden. A playful bundle of fur that conjures up a desperate need to stroke and chase in my littlest. This furry, free spirit cannot be contained by the girls, as much as they try to coerse it indoors with food trails and whipping bendy twigs to and fro psyching up the poor thing into a frenzy. I love their ease at adopting this visitor into our home. They speak of her as their friend. Long may Chanderina visit us in our garden. True innocence at its best.
